Joe Kubert a les honneurs de la couverture de ce numéro qui reprend une aventure journalière écrite et dessinée par Russ Manning ou Tarzan, coincé par une tempête de sable en Égypte, n'hésite pas à aider une princesse attaquée par un sphinx de pierre. Caught in a sand storm in Egypt, Tarzan see an Egyptian chariot carrying a Queen and the giant stone Pharaoh who comes to life and attacks the Queen. Tarzan runs to her aide. Joe Kubert does the cover while the issue reprints newspaper strips written and drawn by Russ Manning.
