Il combattra autant Spider-Man que les Fantastic Four avant de se réformer et combattre aux côtés de Spider-Man, the Avengers ou The Wildpack aux côtés de Silver Sable. A shapeshifter endowed through an accident with the ability to turn himself into sand, he eventually reformed, and became an ally of Spider-Man.
