JIM DANFORTH

Jim Danforth a connu une magnifique carrière en animation image par image et en matte painting. On le salut spécialement pout When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth, mais il a aussi travaillé sur beaucoup de productions tel 7 Faces of Dr. Lao et il a collaboré avec Ray Harryhausen sur Clash of the Titans. On lui doit aussi des créations qui ont frappé notre imaginaire dans la série originale The Outer Limits, comme ses Zanti Misfits. Jim Danforth created the wonderful dinosaurs of When dinosaurs rules the Earth, the stop motion for 7 Faces of Dr. Lao and Jack the Giant Killer amongst others. We owe him some nightmares about the Zanti Misfits and other monsters from the classic Outer Limits and later many wonderful matte paintings.
