Le Parrain des monstres de marais a étè créé en 1942 pour la compagnie Hillman et était un pilote d'avion allemand tombé en Pologne, on le reverra dans des versions différentes pour les éditions Eclipse et Image. The godfather of muck monsters, first seen in 1942, published by Hillman Periodical, reborn for Eclipse and Image comics. In the beginning he was Baron von Emmelman, a World War I German air pilot who was shot down in 1918 over a Polish swamp.
